Verify Zoning Requirements

If the preferred location is not zoned for your business type:

If the Planning and Zoning Division has informed you that the location you have chosen is not appropriately zoned and you would like to search for a different location, reach out to Small Business Specialist Samantha Cope at scope@glendaleaz.com for a revised available property list.

If the Planning and Zoning Division has informed you that your location is zoned appropriately for your business type, you are ready to move to the next step – Contact Building Safety Division for Permit and Plan Requirements.

If the preferred location is zoned for your business type:

We highly encourage you to meet with a member of our planning team to provide more details and possible restrictions that you may encounter with any potential sites you are interested in.
